The Senior Marketing Manager, Campaign Production is responsible for the strategic vision, day to day production and delivery of marketing campaigns through Qantas’ owned digital channels that deliver on Loyalty’s business ambitions.

Your responsibilities include: 


  • Strategic vision of Campaign Production to deliver improved ways of working in how campaigns are built and delivered to market that drives greater cost efficiency and value output.
  • High performance end-to-end build, delivery and optimisation of marketing campaigns utilising Qantas’ data-driven owned channels including email, Qantas.com, Qantas App and SMS placements.
  • Leadership and coaching of a large team of Marketing specialists responsible for driving to performance targets across every business unit within Qantas Loyalty.
  • Accurate resource planning aligned to business priorities to enable delivery of a high volume of campaigns.
  • Forward thinking strategy for adoption of new ways of working using automation, technical platform opportunities and AI to improve campaign build quality, accuracy and speed to market.
  • Lead strategic discussions with Marketing vendors to ensure Qantas’ evolving needs are built into product and capability roadmaps – resulting in reducing cost, friction, risk and expediting speed to market.
  • Provide the strategic direction and oversee the implementation of projects to optimise Marketing production capabilities, improve Loyalty's cost position and improving the member experience.

You’ll have:

  • 10+ years in Marketing within diverse digital industries
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce or related field
  • Strategic excellence all aspects of Marketing delivery.
  • Proven experience in managing a large team of marketing specialists.
  • Deep expertise in activating data-driven personalisation strategies and effective digital Marketing execution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, communication, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Experience in managing workflow and resource planning tools (e.g. Monday.com).
  • Deep knowledge of the MarTech with a proven ability to work strategically with vendors to influence product roadmaps (e.g. Adobe, Salesforce, Braze etc).
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks & meet deadlines.
  • Takes ownership of, and personal accountability for decisions and actions
